Your Habits and Mine in 2021…So Far – 138
In episode 138 when we are just shy of 6 weeks into this new year, I want to check in with you and ask……how are your habits going? Did you make a grand declaration at the beginning of this year, as people often do, that THIS would be the year that you finally locked in that habit that you’ve been wrestling with for a decade? And if you did…..how’s it going?
Well, let me let you off the hook and just tell you that I have fallen down that slippery slope myself and it’s time for a regroup. If you’re with me, don’t beat yourself up too much. The research shows that most people don’t make it through the month of January with their new habit intact.
The good news is that at any time, we humans here on planet earth can decide to try again and try again and with each try, perhaps we can gain some skills or insight that will keep us in the game longer as we head toward consistency with our habits.
