Work, Learn, Play

by Dr. Peggy Malone

This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to attend an event in Baltimore Maryland. It was entrepreneur and business coach extra-ordinare Mara Glazer’s event called The Next Big Buzz.

Angela and PeggyI got to reconnect and have some fun times with my friend Angela Brooks, the fabulous nurse in transition from Kentucky.

You should check out her blog here:

Mara Glazer shared some amazing Marketing and Social media content for the 180 Entrepreneurs in the room. So good!!

She also made sure that we had fun while we were there and sent us to the Baltimore Orioles Baseball game.

I got a chance during the event to do some improv on stage. The pic is a bit fuzzy but you can see me doing my thing 🙂 (below middle)

My business coach Pat Mussieux also did her thing on the stage at Mara’s event. Here’s a pic (below right) with her, Mara and some other fabulous women entrepreneurs.

When the event was over on Sunday evening, Angela and I headed to the Baltimore Harbour to take advantage of the sites and indulge in the local fare of crab cakes and steamed crabs! Delicious but I had to get a lesson from our waitress Keana on how to get into the crabs 🙂 (bottom row)

All in all, it was an amazing event where I learned lots about business, marketing and social media and I had a tonne of fun connecting with like minded entrepreneurs!
