Warning: Change Ahead

Is there something in your life that you would like to change? If so, how long have you been thinking about making the change? A month? A year? Five years? 10 years??
Maybe it’s to start an exercise program or maybe it’s to start a new business. Maybe it’s to lose 20 pounds or maybe it’s to leave a toxic relationship that is not serving you well.
Why haven’t you jumped in and made the change?
Here’s a fact:
People Hate Change
In fact, some people hate change so much that they would rather things stay bad than have to go through the necessary steps to change for the better.
Here’s another fact:
People Don’t Change When They are Comfortable
Right now you are most likely sitting in a chair as you read this. You are probably sitting still… but eventually you’ll shift and move if you feel a bit of discomfort.
You won’t shift and move in your chair until the exact moment when your discomfort is great enough to cause the change… ie. you will change when you are uncomfortable.
If you are comfortable sitting in the chair… you just sit there.
So why haven’t you made a change yet?
If you are unhealthy and you have continued to stay unhealthy… and you have continued to make poor choices… it doesn’t hurt bad enough yet.
You haven’t got a big enough reason to change yet.
You haven’t gotten uncomfortable enough yet.

So, if we know that people don’t change when they are comfortable and we know that you want to make a change… then it’s my job to make you feel uncomfortable.
You are here at this time in your life, in the state of health you are in because you choose to be!
Your current state of health and wellness is the sum result of decisions and choices that you have made every day of your life up until this point!

Ok, are you feeling uncomfortable? Good!
If you have got yourself into this place that you want to get out of…you have the power to do it! You just have to decide that it’s time, make a plan and then take baby steps toward your goal of something different.
