I have been working with Rogers Television, the cable company in my local area to put together a 13 part television series on Health and Wellness.
As Community Producer and Host, I have recruited the efforts of health care providers and local experts in my area to help inspire you to take control of your health and wellness and make better choices to help improve your quality of life.
Take a look at the following video for a few more details:
The survey questions I mentioned in the video are as follows:
-What does Wellness mean to you?
-Who is responsible for your health and wellness?
-How do you feel about your current level of health and wellness and are you looking to make any changes?
Please post your answers below in the comments or head over to my Facebook wall and let me know there.
All too often we don’t think about our health and wellness until something goes wrong. Let’s change that together!
Starting next week, I’ll have a great tool available to help you do just that.
I have put together a 21-Day Health Challenge that will take you through daily action steps and strategies on your way to better health and wellness.
Stay tuned for more details.
Have a great day and until next time,
Live Well
Peggy

I am so excited about you TV show series. I can't not wait to see it. It is nice hearing your voice on video
What does Wellness mean to you? Wellness to me is what makes my body work and feel good for my level of health. I do not believe that I am in a text book some where that my body frame should be at a certain weight that is not healthy for me.
-Who is responsible for your health and wellness? That would be ME
-How do you feel about your current level of health and wellness and are you looking to make any changes? My current level. I want to get my walking back up to what it was last year and bring my weight back down to a healthier level for me.
Thanks for your lovely compliments and your answers to my survey Angela!!
Just taking the time to answer these questions puts you on the path to a better level of health and wellness 🙂
At 67 years of age, wellness to me is:
having that inner stream of confidence that allows me to enjoy life, while knowing I can cope with any stress or difficulties that beset me – I guess you call that a positive outlook on life;
retaining a level of physical health that will allow me to be physically active and to feel good in doing so.
I'm responsible for my health and wellness, but I acknowledge the role played by others in providing advice on my health and lifestyle.
I have a BMI of 23.5 and work out 5 days a week. Have studied and experimented with nutrition for more than 20 years. Currently, I have an avid interest in natural running and minimalist shoes – running has been a part of my life for most of my adult years, and I have never had injuries of any consequence.
So, life is a continual learning experience for me and this sustains my wellness as much as any commitment to maintenance of physical health. Thus, I look forward to details of your 21-Day Health challenge.
Thank you so much for your comments Les!
I look forward to sharing my 21 Day Health Challenge with you and I look forward to your feedback on it!
Stay tuned 🙂
