Lettuce Spicy Beef Tacos
These tacos are delicious!! They are a great way to feel as though you are having an amazing treat without eating gluten, dairy, sugar or corn! I might want to eat them every night this week. Just sayin 🙂
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (grass fed)
- 1/2 cup Salsa (make sure there is no sugar added)
- 1 hot cherry pepper diced (or your choice of hot pepper)
- 1 head romaine lettuce washed and broken into lettuce ‘taco shell’ pieces
- 1 avocado sliced
Directions:
- Brown the ground beef and drain
- Add the salsa and the hot pepper then simmer for a few minutes
- Use lettuce leafs as you would taco shells and fill with the beef mixture.
- Add sliced avocado
- If you eat dairy, you can also sprinkle with some grated cheddar
