Lettuce Spicy Beef Tacos

 These tacos are delicious!! They are a great way to feel as though you are having an amazing treat without eating gluten, dairy, sugar or corn! I might want to eat them every night this week. Just sayin 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (grass fed)
  • 1/2 cup Salsa (make sure there is no sugar added)
  • 1 hot cherry pepper diced (or your choice of hot pepper)
  • 1 head romaine lettuce washed and broken into lettuce ‘taco shell’ pieces
  • 1 avocado sliced

Directions:

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain
  2. Add the salsa and the hot pepper then simmer for a few minutes
  3. Use lettuce leafs as you would taco shells and fill with the beef mixture.
  4. Add sliced avocado
  5. If you eat dairy, you can also sprinkle with some grated cheddar
