Key Quotes:
A few years ago, John and I were struggling to get our financial house in order and we realized that both of us grew up with scripting around money that wasn’t the most productive and it was manifesting in our finances. A patient of mine told me about how The Total Money Makeover changed her life and so I got a copy of it and John and I read it together and followed the steps. John and I rarely have conflict. We don’t argue. We get along. We have the same values and the same views on things but this…this created conflict as we sorted out our emotions based on past scripting and experiences around money. It took a lot of intense effort but we got through it, we set up a budget, we made big changes and we had a break-through. We were dedicated to making the change and something amazing happened after we read this book. This book was an important one for us which is why I think it would be a good one to share with our listeners. – Peggy while describing this month’s book, The Total Money Makeover.
