Your Best Health and Wellness Routine

Back to Your Best Health and Wellness Routine

By: Dr. Peggy Malone

Can you believe it’s September already?  The summer flew by at an amazing speed.  I hope that your summer was a good one and you are now rested and ready to tackle a new school year

Some of you may have noticed that I wasn’t sending out my regular newsletters and blog posts over the summer months. Well, here I am, awake from my summertime hibernation ready again to pass on some great health and wellness and injury prevention information to you!

The beginning of September is about back to school for kids but it also signifies a shift in routine for many people even if they don’t have kids.

It is one of two times in the year when the gyms fill up again as people begin to put routine and health and wellness back on their radar.

Over the summer and especially last week, I have been vacationing and indulging in a little too much of all the ‘good’ stuff.  The stuff that isn’t really so good for me.

Today is the day for me where I have begun to get back on track for my own health and wellness.  I’ve got my meals planned for the week (healthy ones!). I’ve been exercising again….I signed up for a half marathon race in October!  I’ve also reviewed my goals for the year and being as healthy as I can be will help to push me toward them!

How about you?  Have you started back at the gym?  Are you thinking about it?  If you have kids, does their routine spark an interest for you to get back into a routine for what you eat and drink, how you think, how you move your body?

If you haven’t had the inspiration to use September as the catalyst to get your health and wellness back on track….consider this a little push

I know that if you are reading what I write then you are interested in taking control of your health, getting past your injuries and being the best you that you can be!

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be reminding you of the things that you can be doing in this fall season to get you back on track so that you can go from exhausted to energized, so that you can fly into the holiday season feeling amazing and so you can welcome January 1st in a state where you are already leaps and bounds ahead of those people who will be using that day as the day to start on their health and wellness plans!!

It’s time.  I’m getting back on track and I hope that you’ll join me.

Head on over to my Facebook page and let me know what you are doing to dial up your health and wellness plan this fall.

Looking forward to a healthy autumn,

Live Well,
