About Dr. Peggy

 

Dr. Peggy Malone

Dr. Peggy Malone is a Chiropractor who works with a diverse group of patients but has a specific interest in the care and treatment of athletes.

She completed her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics, at the University of Guelph where she was a member of both the Women’s Varsity Basketball and Rugby teams. She then went on to earn her 4 year Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

 

Dr. Malone is full body and biomechanics certified in Active Release Techniques TM and is working on completing her International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma which will enable her to work at international sporting events around the world.

She has completed three marathons, several half-marathons, two off-road triathlons and is a 4 time finisher of the 30km Around the Bay Road Race in Hamilton.

Ironman Canada 2008 Finish

 

She has participated in the Peterborough Half Ironman Triathlon twice. In 2006 she finished the Madison Wisconsin Ironman Triathlon and in August of 2008 she finished Ironman Canada. She is also a member of the St. Thomas Women’s Basketball League.

We did it!

In October of 2010, she participated in the Dublin Ireland Marathon to help coach her Aunt to her first marathon finish.

Her own athletic endeavors have given her valuable insight into working with athletes for both the care of injuries as well as for the improvement of athletic performance.

 

Ultraman Canada 2009 Day 3

She works with a variety of athletes over a diverse cross section of sporting events and from all levels of competition, including children, weekend warriors, elite and Olympic athletes as well as several professional athletes.

She has traveled to the north east of China to teach English as a second language, as well as to Australia to work as a Chiropractor. She has also cycled from Vancouver, B.C., Canada to London, ON., Canada.

 

Hosting Rogers Show

Dr. Peggy Malone currently appears as a regular ‘Wellness Wednesdays’ guest on the St. Thomas, Ontario Rogers Television show 'Inside Elgin'.  Look for her in 2011 as the Host of the Rogers Television Show 'Living Well' where she will look to inspire people from all walks of life to take control of their wellbeing by taking responsibility for their health choices.
